ACRYLIC NAILS vs GEL NAILS
Acrylics and gels are basically the same thing, acrylics, liquid and
powder consists of two fazes, a liquid and a powder, that start to
cure (dry) as soon as they are mixed, to cure they need heat (the
body temperature is enough). Gels don't need mixing and they cure
with a U.V. lamp.
The removal process also differ: acrylics can be taken off by soaking
them in acetone, while gel usually has to be filed off.
Some people might prefer one system over the other. Acrylics tend
to be somewhat stronger than gels. Both types of nails are an extremely
natural-looking enhancement.
A new set of nails for either process takes about an hour and a half.
